Four Athenians run away to the forest only to have Puck the fairy make both of the boys fall in love with the same girl. The four run through the forest pursuing each other while Puck helps his master play a trick on the fairy queen. In the end, Puck reverses the magic, and the two couples reconcile and marry.

From Hannah: It was beyond joyful to return to work with Montford Park Players, one of the longest running outdoor Shakespearian theaters, to direct this production. My original concept for the show developed from the idea: How could we communicate emotions if we were unable to touch each other? The result was a celebration of colorful powder, glittering curtains, original and well-known favorite tunes, and a good amount of exaggerated movement. Everything about this process was a celebration. I asked the actors and designers what they wanted to see on stage, and then I made it happen. With a show as well-known and interpreted as Midsummer, it was the perfect opportunity for me not only to add something new to the story, but to justify each actor's joy into the final production.
